In the nineteen twenties, elegant society was characterized by its display of wealth and taste for exotism. The roaring twenties meant the veneration of luxurious cars. It was the reign of the motor mascot. The most dazzling of these figurines and the most eagerly sought after today are those few that René Lalique created from 1925 onwards. The Eagle Head was one of those motor mascots.
