King Gaspar from Europe is one of the Three Kings of the Orient and second in Reed %26 Barton's Nativity Series of Christmas ornaments. As a gift to the newborn king, Gaspar brought Frankincense, which was used primarily as incense and perfume, and was considered a soothing gift. Crafted in rich silver-plate, this striking silhouette ornament is embellished with intricately carved bas relief and enamel accents in brilliant hues. Attention to detail is evident in the king's cloak, the decorative blanket, and the rein made of delicate, silver chain. Elegantly packaged for gift-giving and storage. Includes a red satin ribbon for hanging. Made in the USA.
