"You take some sand, red lead and soda, heat up the mixture. What do you get? Crystal. Then it's just a matter of shaping the melted glass. It's a material that, when hot, can be shaped with simple tools. I want to carry on working and molding the crystal. I want to shape the light. As long as there is light, glass is alive."
