Gorillas are the largest of the great apes, with mature males averaging around 400 pounds. Nevertheless, they are very sensitive and social, and this is what makes them so fascinating. They have a well-developed social structure, living and travelling in family groups.
The mountain gorilla is one of the most endangered large mammals, classified as critically endangered by the Red List of International Union for Conservation of Nature. The total population is currently estimated at around 700.
This bundle of mischief comes in faceted Black Diamond crystal. While the hands and feet gleam in unfaceted crystal, the eyes shine innocently in Jet crystal. The SCS member exclusive Gorilla Cub is available only in 2009 and complements the Annual Edition Gorillas.
