Gorillas are the largest of the great apes, with mature males averaging around 400 pounds. Nevertheless, they are very sensitive and social, and this is what makes them so fascinating. They have a well-developed social structure, living and travelling in family groups.
The mountain gorilla is one of the most endangered large mammals, classified as critically endangered by the Red List of International Union for Conservation of Nature. The total population is currently estimated at around 700.
With long elegant facets, the two gorillas are created in exquisite Black Diamond crystal with Jet crystal eyes, while the hands and feet shine in unfaceted crystal. The two gorillas are individual pieces and you can arrange them however you like. They are exclusively available in 2009.
