Product Warranties:

Appliances One Year Limited Warranty

Spring Switzerland provides a one year, from date of original purchase, limited warranty against defects due to faulty workmanship or materials on its line of small kitchen electric appliances. This warranty is limited to the extent that it does not cover damages caused by neglect, abuse or improper product use, including commercial use or any other use for which it was neither designed nor intended. Please see the section in your product manual on "Use and Care" for any questions on the products' proper usage.

Further this warranty does not cover parts subject to normal wear or accidental damage, such as glass parts or containers, blades, agitators or filter baskets.

Spring Switzerland also expressly disclaims any responsibility for consequential damages for any incidental losses caused by the use of and Spring products.

Any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose with respect to this product is also limited to the one year limited warranty period. Some jurisdictions do not allow disclaimer of the implied warranty with respect to consumer goods. As a result, the foregoing disclaimer may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights which vary by jurisdiction.


Cookware Care & Instructions:

The Healthy Kitchen by Andrew Weil, MD introduces 5-ply cookware featuring magnetic stainless steel exteriors, pure alloy aluminum and 18/10 stainless steel interiors. The unique rolled and sealed rim ensures aluminum never touches your food while the aluminum core allows for fast and even heat distribution. Ergonomically designed, the riveted handles stay cool and the cookware remains perfectly balanced on cooking surfaces including induction. The cookware is dishwasher safe and includes a lifetime warranty.

Caring For Your Cookware
Before using for the first time, wash in hot soapy water. Rinse in hot water and dry thoroughly. When cooking without natural fats, add olive oil or another fat substance to cover the bottom of the cookware interior.

To Prevent Food From Sticking
Check to see if the stove is level. Is the cookware clean? Make sure the heat is not set too high. For best cooking performance, low to medium heat is recommended.

To Prevent Damage From Salts
Do not put salts into an empty heated pot to avoid small white dots or pits from forming. Although pitting does not affect cooking performance, it can diminish the appearance of the stainless steel.

Interior Color Change
Prevent brown and blue stains by not over-heating. An excessive amount of iron content in your water may cause your pot to look rusty. If possible, use filtered water.

Cleaning Interior & Exterior Stainless Steel
The polished stainless steel exterior of The Healthy Kitchen Collection requires very little care. Do Not use steel wool, steel scouring pads, harsh detergents, oven cleaners or cleansers with Chlorine bleach. We recommend using a nylon scrubbing pad or soft cloth for stubborn spots.
