Cashs celebrates the verdant wonders of Ireland with a new collection of Cashs Art Glass designed by Terence Mac Sweeney. Terence has been involved in glass blowing for over 30 years. He started his apprenticeship in Killarny, Ireland in 1979 after his mother saw an ad in the newspaper and urged him to apply. He spent six years learning his craft in the Isle of Weight tutored by well known glass artist Michael Harris. Terence also spent time in Lanagham Glass in England developing his skills.
Each piece of Cashs Art Glass is mouth blown and shaped by hand using 100% recycled glass they collect from near by towns and businesses. No two pieces are the same. Terence has always enjoyed the challenges of working with glass by hand. He adds the beautiful colors of Ireland to Cashs Art Glass with multi-various shades of greens echoing the landscape that inspires his work. Hand made in Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland.
Since 1976 Cashs of Ireland has been synonimus with fine crystal and Irish gifts fashioned by hand in traditional ways by skilled Irish craftsmen.
