Crystal Classics is the largest independent retailer of Belleek China.

Belleek Pottery Ltd is a porcelain company that began trading in 1887 in Belleek, County Fermanagh, in what was to become Northern Ireland. The company was founded by John Caldwell Bloomfield in response to the potato famine as a way to provide employment for local tenant farmers. The area was naturally rich in minerals and located near the powerful River Erne on a railway line, all of which made pottery production possible. In 1863, the company successfully produced the Parian porcelain for which it is now famous. Parian porcelain, named for the Greek marble it imitates, is a bisque porcelain that looks like carved marble but is actually a liquid that can be cast into a mold and mass-produced. By 1865, Belleek’s prestige was such that its customers spanned the globe and included royalty and nobility.

Belleek Pottery has been hand-crafting fine porcelain in County Fermanagh, Ireland, continuously since then, making it one of the oldest pottery companies in Northern Ireland.

Known for its beautiful translucence, each piece of Belleek porcelain is light but is also very durable, with fine design detail and hand-painted shamrocks, flowers or gold trim. Sixteen individuals craft and care for each piece before it receives the famous Belleek trade mark, ensuring it's authenticity. Belleek's reputation is built on product excellence. Company founder, John Caldwell Bloomfield, declared that any piece with even the slightest flaw must be destroyed. Over 155 years later, this is still strictly adhered to. The result is perfection.
