The 2020 Belleek Annual Christmas Ornament has been inspired by an Irish corn mill in Annalong, County Down, Northern Ireland. In operation since the early 1800's, the busy corn mill milled oats supplied by local farmers into oatmeal. Closed by the 1960's, the beautifully restored mill now houses an exhibition showing the milling process in detail. The waterwheel which powered the mill proudly stands at the side and can be seen working.
Hand Painted on both sides, the intricate work of the painters highlight the mill doors, sacks of corn, magnificent waterwheel and lucky shamrock. Hand crafted at historical Belleek Pottery, Annalong Corn mill is the 33rd Annual Edition Ornament and will only be available in 2020.
